Why phosphorus and organic matter matter
Rubber is a long-lived plantation crop. Phosphorus supports root development in young plants, and organic matter helps soil hold moisture and nutrients through the dry months.
Published recommendations for rubber
| Input | Published recommendation | Timing | Source |
|---|---|---|---|

Note: No bone meal or vermicompost dose is given by these sources. Their phosphorus source for the planting pit is rock phosphate. A Rubber Board primary source could not be found online, so it is not quoted.
These are general published recommendations for the crop, quoted as the source gives them. They are not FAMCO product doses. Follow a soil test and your local agriculture or horticulture office.
